I hope you will add a function in the drawer: apps folder like china develop app “go launcher” it is easy to grouping the appear in a folder by drop and pull. Not the function of select the appear in a group, it is a bad function.
I hope my suggestion are useful.

Lately, ADWLanucherEX regularly has to rebuild the desktop. When I press home, it shows me an empty screen with plusses in the bottom bar. After that, it takes about 10 seconds before all the icons and widgets are visible again. Very annoying.

To set the app 4d drawer to transparent set the background color to #33000000 and tap the middle circle enjoy

Love adw ex. A couple comments though: 1. Can you enable wallpaper scrolling? 2. I cannot find adw notifier in the market anymore, I did purchase it some time back so I would like to be able to use it. 3. The transparency in the Vertical 4D does not seem to be working on my Samsung galaxy or Nexus one

How can I get the EX version to read the settings I worked out for the free version?

I am a Japanese using ADW of the pay version.

Though Japanese supports, as for the free copy, why does not the pay version support Japanese?

I would love to see a WebOS style app drawer (paginated, scrollable, reoderable). That would be great. Reorderable icons would be awesome in itself, too. In order to move the icons from within the drawer, you could default long-pressing to just moving inside the drawer, and have a home icon on the bottom of the drawer allowing you to exit to the normal home-screen (or dock) placement.

I was wondering if out would be possible to allow for 7 icons on the dock (the primary, one, I don’t use the hidden ones)

Can’t seem to return to default theme after installing a custom theme. Even after uninstalling custom theme! Tried rebooting, too… Any advice?

I love that ADW.Launcher makes it possible to remove the dock bar so I don’t have redundant shortcuts on all of my homescreens. It would be even more awesome if I could do this while preserving the catalog navigation buttons in the app drawer. Thanks for the best launcher EVER!

I would ask permission to include your application “ADW Launcher Free” in a Rom cooked for me, as part of my Rom to include this great application of yours, of course I will put the thanks in the credits as the creator of the ADW application Launcher.

Thank you for all your great work. I use a x10 mini pro and ADW Launcher EX has made the experience much more enjoyable. I was wondering though would it be possible for you to set up the app draw so that each group has a title showing? it would be nice to have the option of turning off the group that shows all apps so that only the groups created are shown?

I agree, the groups would be easier to navigate if there was some form of title. The ability to hide the primary app group would be excellent, also.

Can you shed some light on this issue I am having with the way icons are rendering? I’m experiencing it in both ADW, and ADW ex. The icons are not rendering cleanly. It looks as if they are being run through some compression, and have more jagged edges between fields of color.When I compare the icons placed on the screen with ADW, versus ones done by Desktop Visualizer – the difference in render quality is quite noticeable. I also tested the “new icons” features and found that when you increase the size of the icons, the quality does not scale. I am using icons that are 256×256, but it looks like ADW is caching the bitmap data, and then scaling that data instead of rendering the original asset at a larger dimensions.This screenshot shows ADW icons at 153% on the left and desktop visualizer icons on the right. This happens in both ADW.Launcher and ADW.Ex.

I’m debating whether or not to get the LG Optimus 2X when my contract comes to an end in a couple of months, but I don’t fancy LG’s skin/UI so I wanted to know if ADW will work on the LG Optimus 2X, because if it does that will make my mind up to get that phone as I really like ADW.

Sorry if this is a noob question, but I only started using a home replacement/launcher a couple of weeks ago and I don’t know what kind of compatibility issues there might be.

I would really like to be able to configure which edge of the screen to put the dock. I am using button savior and when I am in landscape both ADW and button savior are competing for the right edge. Please add option.

I have one question. It may be operator error (my part) or a bug. When I hit the “MENU” button (both the hard and soft buttons on my G2, the “NOTIFICATION” tab is no longer there.

Any chance to add two small features?

1. Add the option for home button to be turn screen off.
2. Add a link to Manage Apps when on Gingerbread (that’s the Gingerbread task manager).

Would like to see option in ADW LauncherEX that will either arrange the folder apps automatically or custom instead of just arranging them as they are added to the android folders.

ok i have just one suggestion for next update and ADW will be perfect for me…you know how the app drawer has animations and you can change the zoom effect speed…well most home replacements do too…but how about add more animations there…such as a sliding drawer as seen in old versions of android (1.6 and before) i always loved that feature and reinstall zeam 1.5.1 just so i can but i uninstall because of a lack of features…i’ll be happy to donate or help in anyway if you make my dreams come true

I really love this software but there is oe point I don’t like: “Highlight press color”. Is threre a way to disable it? Even when I choose white nothing changes and with the alpha ar on the right or on the left it’s the same. Thank you by advance and congratulation again for that great soft.

Forget my question, I tried one more time to put the bar on the left and it works. I believe I did something wrong.

Just bought ADW EX.
Love it. Adding a feature to reorganize the app drawer by drag and drop would be great !

Hello, thank you for this amazing app. The only think i miss is the possibility of using the NEW icons settings in the drawer. When I use the fancy bg, the text is pressing on the edge of it, maybe, if the new icons settings could be applied to all icons, including the drawer ones it would be great.

Is it just me or the backups are not working….? Every time I restore it nothing or almost nothing gets restored… Only the number of shortcuts on the dock bar go from 3 to 5…..

K-9 Mail no longer works with ADWNotifier since their new update as of Feb. 9, 2011.

Is there any way to remove the “snap” or “align to grid” feature of ADW? I want to place widgets and icons wherever they will fit, but ADW likes to snap them into particular places?

I an using adwLauncher EX on my Notion Ink Tablet and i would love to be able to expand the dockbar to like 9 icons so that it fills the entire with of the screen. Please add the ability to configure it past 5 icons! I would be willing to beta test just email me!

Please, please, please…bring back the silky-smooth 4D Drawer from the previous build! I can’t stand how laggy the new one is with transparency.

Well my question – can we control the gap between the rows and column grid? On my HTC Desire HD the 4×4 icon grid is touch down almost to my icon dock panel. I want to reduce the gaps between the grid and centre it on the screen.

I love this launcher, but I have a request. Would it be possible to add the swipe gesture to the App Drawer? So you can quickly change between groups.

I was using your launcher until 3 weeks ago: I started using Launcherpro. Why? Because it allows many docks and gestures over the dock icons. Will you add these features for next verssion? If so I will use ADWLauncher again instead of Launcherpro.

I have brought your app and i am loving it. One think i would like to suggest. For the drawer/All-Applications screen, you are sorting apps Alphabetically. Which is very difficult to find newly installed apps among some 100. Can you have a preference to set sort order as Newly added or Alphabetically ?
This feature is there in stock Drawer/all apps screen in HTC Desire HD, on which i have installed your homescreen.

Please fix the autorotate bug. When waking and switching from lanscape to normal it causes a soft reboot.

I would like more control over the dock icons – I want just 3 but space farther apart – so i would like a big dial icon on one side and a big email icon on the other. I can think of few scenarios:

1. allow dock icon spacing and greater sizing.
2. Custom dock background with “hot spots”
3. ability to create invisible no-action icons to take up spaces in 5 icon layout.

So the end result would be like senseUI or MotoBlur. One app drawer in the center and a large icon/shortcut on each size.
